before design

Prior to moving into digital product design, I spent 5 years in research and development and process engineering, working on power components at Abertax, medical devices at Baxter, and busbar production at Methode Electronics. My work included testing rigs, calibration procedures, and the investigation and communication of technical failures. This experience shaped my approach to design: understanding complex problems, validating solutions through testing, and communicating decisions clearly across disciplines.
